My Life With Green Fingers

In May I planted some seeds. I was going to do a whole series of blog posts about the event but camera issues (I can't remember what they were, now) meant that I missed the window for the first post and so I didn't bother to carry on. This means that you have missed out on such fascinating topics as:

Pots of soil
Shoots
Traumatic Exposure to the Outside
Superfluous Tomato Plants
Huge Monster Caterpillar vs The Sunflowers
Windiness
Bamboo
Wiggly Sunflowers
Withered Ends
Tomato Plants' Attempts at Cheering Me Up
Poking Courgettes with Cotton Buds
Stop Growing Upwards and Start Growing Outwards
Green Things (Soon to be Red)
The First Harvest

Luckily, I can alleviate some of the disappointment you must be feeling by bringing to you:

Wiggly Sunflowers:

Green Things (Soon to be Red):

and The First Harvest:

Awesome!

I really like the Sunflower.
It is wiggling it like a wiggly thing.

I hope your GT(StbR) are tasty.
I assume you *are* going to eat them, yes?

I say nothing about the last picture, madam, on grounds of common decency.
Except: I raise an eyebrow.
And: it looks like a bit like a big green willy.

I could have straightened out the sunflower when I gave it some bamboo but I liked its loopiness.

Oh yes! I will be eating the Green Things (Soon to be Red) just as soon as they are red.

Tee hee! It is a bit frightening going to the courgette patch to find something like that looming at me.

To quote the great Fozzy Bear, "I don't even know what that is!" (but it appears to be about a foot long).

I got another one. But it's considerably shorter than about a foot long.
