SHOES! Pt. II

I have been studying the art of wearing shoes. Luckily for me, the Summer was so bad that I was able to get away with wearing boots for 99% of it.

In a couple of weeks I will be giving my red and white dress another airing but the style and colour calls for red shoes. Not black boots. Red shoes.

So I have been practising wearing some red shoes. I have more gel in them than I can shake a stick at. They're not mad red shoes. They're not stilettos or anything. The heel is reasonably high but not completely outside normality. I have encountered some problems:

1) How does one keep ones feet warm?
2) How does one make the shoes less painful to wear?

I do have a theory that feet are meant to be cold in shoes as this numbs the pain. Any confirmation of this would be appreciated.
